Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser.

Please note, any warranty enquiries and services must be accompanied by a copy of the original Tax Invoice. The Tax Invoice Number serves as your Warranty Number. Texaszulu LLC will offer no warranty service without this number.

Texaszulu LLC warrants the fire pits against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from original date of purchase. During this period, Texaszulu LLC undertakes to repair or replace defective products at no cost to the customer.

Texaszulu LLC makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, with respect to the materials and workmanship of the fire pits.

Except as described below, Texaszulu LLC is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage of products in transit, or by the collection or delivery, by a third party.

The Warranty and remedies set forth below are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this Warranty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Any modifications and/or alterations made to the fire pits by anyone following purchase of same, shall render the Warranty null and void. The customer will be responsible for any costs incurred in respect of service or repair outside the scope of this Limited Warranty and as a result of any modification and/or alterations as described above.
2. Texaszulu LLC, reserves the right to sole judgement of misuse, negligence, accidental and/or improper handling or installation of products, and revocation of the Warranty as a result of same. The customer will be responsible for any costs incurred in respect of service or repair outside the scope of this Limited Warranty and as a result of any of the actions described above.
3. All major accessories and trims are manufactured using stainless. This Warranty covers any mild steel products that are defective but does not extend to cover rust as a result of poor maintenance. It is necessary to maintain all mild steel products and the onus is on the customer to do so.
4. This Warranty extends only to products distributed and/or sold by Texazulu LLC, or approved agents of Texaszulu LLC.
5. This Warranty covers only use of the abovementioned products within the Guidelines for Use of Products, and Maintenance of Products, as described below. Texaszulu LLC shall not be liable under this Warranty if any damage or defect results from: i. misuse ii. abuse iii. neglect iv. improper handling/transport/installation v. disasters such as fire, lightning, hail, flood vi. modification or alteration by anyone other than Texaszulu LLC vii. irresponsible use, including the use of fire accelerants.
6. The customer must retain the Tax Invoice or other proof of purchase to receive warranty service.
7. No warranty extension will be granted for any repairs or replacement of abovementioned products in fulfilment of this Warranty.
8. Any repairs completed by Texaszulu LLC as a result of reasonable wear and tear following the two-year warranty, and at the cost of the customer, will carry a six-month warranty.

Procedure for Warranty Claim

To return a defective product, please contact our Customer Service Department at sales@texaszulu.com.

Please include/attach the following:

1. A copy of the original Tax Invoice
2. A brief description of the defect
3. Photographs of the defect
4. Your contact details

Your claim will be assessed and the repair or replacement scheduled accordingly.

Procedure for Post Warranty Repair

To request repairs to a damaged product, please contact our Customer Service Department at info@texaszulu.com

Please include/attach the following:

1. A copy of the original Tax Invoice
2. A brief description of the defect
3. Photographs of the defect
4. Your contact details
5. Your request will be assessed and you will be quoted the cost of repair. On acceptance of the quote, and receipt of payment, the repair will be scheduled. Note: Collection and delivery fees incurred when products are returned for post-warranty repairs will be charged to the customer

Furniture

At Texaszulu LLC we build with timber harvested from natural forests. The charm of this material is that no two pieces are the same in either colour, character or grain, and they will contain natural imperfections such as knots, stress cracks and so on that enhance their authenticity and attractiveness. It is therefore not possible to reproduce any two pieces identically or to have a perfectly uniform colour and grain within a piece.

Solid wood naturally oxidises and darkens with age. Zambezi teak in particular will change from a beautiful light honey brown to a darker rich red brown colour on exposure to light. This is a natural process so the product you receive will certainly change colour with time and may vary in appearance from products in brochures or on our web sites. Solid wood moves as the environmental humidity changes. The African Touch products are designed to allow for this natural movement, so you may see a slightly different wood colour where a portion that was previously covered becomes exposed. With time it will all blend to a similar colour.

At Texaszulu LLC we reserve the right to alter or discontinue designs.

Some pieces are very heavy and great care must be taken in handling these pieces. Texaszulu LLC will not be responsible for injury or death while our products are being handled or moved. Because the timber is so dense, it can be quite brittle and chip or crack. Tesxaszulu LLC deny responsibility for damage from poor handling.

We offer a 15 year warranty against construction flaws for all products except chairs (rocking on chairs will inevitably weaken the joints because of the huge stresses placed on them), stools, folding tables, furniture used for commercial purposes, and custom designed products that we have not been able to test sufficiently. If you are concerned about the size and weight of those going to use the product please let us know and we will assist in suggesting an alternative options.

Naturally, any miss handling or inappropriate use of the product will invalidate the warranty. The warranty does not apply to components supplied by Texaszulu LLC that are fitted into or on components from another supplier, the client or to a building. We will supply you with our suggested care and maintenance guidelines to ensure life-long enjoyment of your furniture. However we cannot be held responsible for repairing / replacing this product if you don’t follow these guidelines.

Texaszulu LLC will not in any circumstances be liable for any claim which falls outside the scope of our warranty or for any consequential damages whatsoever.
